September Haul

SONY DSC

I was on a budget last month, but that didn’t keep me away from the bargains I found in-stores. This post covers both the makeup and skincare products I bought throughout the month of September.

Makeup

Eyeko Fat Brush Mascara

I saw this mascara in TK Maxx, and was shocked to see it was being sold for only £4.99 considered the RRP of £15, but I resisted buying it because I have so many opened, as well as unopened, mascaras at home. After I got home I just couldn’t believe that I left this mascara behind given the price tag and went back the next day and picked it up. They did also have the Skinny Brush Mascara, but I didn’t get that one as I typically don’t apply mascara to my lower lashes and prefer a volumising one for the top lashes.

KIKO Extra Sculpt Volume Mascara

KIKO currently have a sale on all their mascara brushes, so I picked this one up in-store for only £3.90! I’ve heard amazing things about this mascara and can’t wait to give it a try.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

This is a staple in my makeup/ makeup application collection, and it’s always handy to have a new one at hand, especially when you find it in TK Maxx for £3.99!

Primark 3 mini blender sponges

I bought these sponges for the first time because I wanted to test them out and see if they’re any good, considering you get three for £2. Watch out for a review on these soon.

Skincare

Good Things Manuka Honey Creamy Cleanser 150ml

I’ve heard many good things about this cleanser in the beauty world, and when I spotted it at TK Maxx for £2.99, I snatched it up. I love creamy cleansers in my morning routine, and I can see this becoming a favourite in the colder months if it lives up to my expectations.

Superfacialist Vitamin C+ Skin Renew Cleansing Oil 200ml

This is another cleanser I’ve only heard good things about, and also another product spotted in TK Maxx for a ridiculously discounted price. Is it becoming obvious how much time I spend in the shop? I should’ve called this post My TK Maxx Haul haha!

Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Oil-Free Moisturiser 50 ml & Neutrogena Visibly Clear Rapid Clear Treatment 15ml

I bought these two using Boots’ 2 for £5 on selected Neutrogena Visibly Clear range offer. I wanted to try the Rapid Clear Treatment as I have been having some horrible hormonal breakouts. I might write a post on how I’m finding it after testing it out for a while longer. The moisturiser, I picked up because mine had finished and I wanted to try a new one. Although I have found that this may have been more suitable for warmer weather and since the weather is getting gradually colder I may need to pick another day moisturiser up soon.

Handcare

Carex Fun Bubble Gum Hand Wash 250ml

When I saw this bubble-gum scented hand wash I knew I had to buy it, no questions asked. I can’t wait to use it!

L’OOCCITANE Lavender Shea Butter Extra Gentle Soap 100g

I found this at a charity sale near my house for 50p. Yes, you heard right, 50 pence.
